The Banquet Facility at Gowan Brae Golf and Country Club offers one of the best venues in Northern New Brunswick for functions requiring one room seating for up to 250 people. The room has 30 five foot round tables seating 8 people comfortably and has outstanding views of the Golf Course on three sides of the room. Adjoining the Banquet Room is a large deck, 24 by 36 feet, looking directly over the 18th green. With 9 tables and umbrellas this area offers an outstanding area for guests to relax from the Banquet Room and enjoy the fresh outside air.
Also, the Leach room is adjacent to the Banquet Room and seats 32 people for a sit down meal. This room is ideal for small groups for meetings, presentations or a quiet private meal. The room has a wonderful view of the 18th hole with the Bathurst Harbour in the background. It also offers wireless internet service and is decorated with memorabilia and an upscale wood finish that is spectacular.
The Bar area, which is on the North East side of the club house also has a lounge area which seats another 50 people and a 19th hole area that seats an additional 60 people. All these areas are available for functions through out the year and can be decorated and assembled as per the clients needs.
The areas are all air conditioned through out the main floor and pictures can be taken outside with permission from the management.
Gowan Brae offers a full range of food from it’s Banquet kitchen with the capability of serving up to 250 sit down meals. The staff can also provide services for smaller groups ranging from Nutritional Break food to soup and sandwich food. If your group would like seafood specialties such as lobster, shrimp or scallops then these are available as well.
Gowan Brae has hosted numerous weddings, retirement parties, anniversary parties and other special functions over the past number of years and have an excellent reputation for first class service.
