Gowan Brae offers a full-service Club Fitting experience for every club in your golf bag from your driver to your putter.
Importance of Club Fitting:
Golf Clubs are NOT one size fits all! Everyone’s swing is very different, ensuring that your clubs are tailored to your swing will provide you with the best results! Our goal is to lower your scores and increase your enjoyment of the game of golf. No matter your skill level or age, a custom fitted set of golf clubs will improve your game!
Estimated Fit Times:
- Driver: ~45 Minutes
- Fairway Wood: ~45 Minutes
- Hybrid: ~45 Minutes
- Irons: ~45 Minutes
- Wedges: ~45 Minutes
- Putter: ~30 Minutes

- $100 per Club Fitting Session (45 Minutes) // $100 fee is waived with a purchase of over $400 worth of product(s)
- $75 per Putter Fitting Session (30 Minutes) // $75 fee is waived with the purchase of Putter* (*Over $300)
- Club Gapping Session ($50 plus tax w/ Purchase of Clubs or $75 plus tax). This session will determine the yardage difference between each club in your golf bag. Club lofts can be altered based on the findings.

Andrew Wood
Born and raised in Bathurst, Andrew learned the game of golf through many years attending the Gowan Brae Junior Program. Andrew graduated from Bathurst High School, and the following year from CCNB before deciding to embark on the journey of becoming a PGA of Canada member in 2018. The importance of technology in golf clubs and launch monitors are a focus and priority for him, continually learning to be able to provide premium and knowledgeable club fittings for all. Andrew has a desire to help people enjoy golf more with the proper equipment tailored to their swing.

Gowan Brae uses Trackman as its preferred launch monitor for indoor golf, the same device used by many of the top PGA Tour players. Trackman provides many individual data points for every swing that will help your fitting professional find the best products for you. Trackman is among the most accurate launch monitors on the market, whether the device be indoors or outdoors you will see the same accuracy in distance. We also pair Titleist RCT Golf balls in the ProV1 and ProV1x models with the Trackman to ensure that we are getting the most accurate results. Keeping up with the latest technology and the newest products is something that we pride ourselves in, continuing to learn to provide the best service.

"In 2022 my husband suggested, and I agreed, that I needed to update my golf clubs. Mine were over 10 years old and technology had come such a long way in 10 years. I made an appointment with the very capable Andrew Wood in January or February. The first appointment centered on getting used to the simulator and different makes of clubs. I had it in my mind that Callaway was what I wanted, and the simulator stats showed Callaway was a good brand for me. On my second appointment with Andrew we focused on different shafts and club heads, especially with the driver. I tend to hit to the right so Andrew adjusted the face of the driver to help offset that. Once all the specs were decided Andrew made the custom order for me. It wasn’t long for them to arrive and I’m delighted with them. I’m hitting the ball further and straighter. The new hybrids, which I didn’t have before, are easier to hit than long irons. And the feel and the sound when I hit them well, it’s wonderful. Thank you to Andrew for being so patient and taking the time to make sure my new clubs are perfect for me!"
